If you are planning to purchase a puppy, take the following into consideration:

  • all the puppies are available for sale after 2,5 month from their birth;
  • when purchasing a small Spitz from our kennel we provide you with a full package of FCI and AKC documents as a guarantee of dog’s pedigree;
  • a puppy purchased in Russia has to be chipped, receive a card of RKF standard and a veterinary passport proving all the vaccinations.

We’re providing our customers with all the documents listed above. Export pedigree can be ordered after a puppy reaches 6 month and it requires additional costs that are not counted in dig’s cost. Even if you have all the papers, you’re not obliged to take your pet for various events.

Mini Spitz, German Spitz, Pomeranian, Dwarf Spitz and Zwergspitz – all these names represent the same breed.

A phrase Spitz boo is not concerned the breed as it’s a name of a famous hairstyle of Pomeranians that is implemented with using clippers.

We don’t recommend giving your dog this haircut as the hair may not grow properly after clipping.

Temperament and Personality

Representatives of Spitz breed are considered as perfect companions. They are opened, attractive and sociable. Moreover, they adore playing with kids as well as with other animals. These dogs are always ready to make friends even with strangers. Spitz will willingly accompany his owner everywhere and will be happy to play with other dogs. Concerning their nature, they are highly emotional and curious. Unreasonable barking has to be forbidden from the early age. These dogs are very smart and easy to train. Care and Grooming

Care about Spitz’s hair is not a complicated point but it needs attention. Puppies require grooming using a massage brush several times per week, and washed at least once in ten days. Adult dogs require grooming minimum once per week (depends on the hair structure) and washed once in two weeks. if it’s a snow dog, it needs to be washed more often. Bathing procedures have to be implemented with special shampoos and conditioners with moisture effect. Grooming has to be implemented using special sprays mixed with warm water in proportion 1:12. Spitz’s coat needs to be sprayed before brushing. If the air outside is dry, you may spray your dog’s hair more often to prevent drying. Don’t forget to comb your dog during the day.

Size and weight

There are several types of Spitz according their size. The most popular are Pomeranians and Toy Spitz. Pomeranians are also known as Dwarf Spitz and Pom Pom. All the names have the same meaning. Pomeranian is the smallest representative of the breed. It’s average height is 18-22,5 cm. Weight varies from 1,7 to 3,5 kilos that depends on the core strength and living conditions. The Toy Spitz is known as Keeshond or German Spitz. Maximum height of a grown-up dog can be 22-29 cm, weight is around 2,5 kilos and more. It’s quite difficult to determine the growth prospects of a little puppy and the dog’s size specifics can be visible after the age of 6 months.
